We are a Gothic/Doom/Alternative Metal Band. Dear Emeralds, when our music is born, we are convinced of one thing: the nuances, the differences, the fusion between whispers and screams, between black and white, between the pleasure of a walk in the park and a slow run, all this mixed with colors, of our singular souls, made of Emerald, can never be missing ... even if we prefer to wander and dream through the charm of the shadows created by the darkness of the night, you will perceive all this through our every single song created by the Emerald Table. From the will of Ubaldo Formichetti (producer and guitarist) and Mauro De Angelis (lyricist and keyboardist/violinist) emerged the embryo of the Emerald Table project in 2015. As time passed, various collaborations took place while the tracks of their first complete album, “Book of Illusion’s Fragments,” slowly took shape. However, they decided not to publish it for now. The name Emerald Table represents the foundational stone of their inspiration, attracted by mythology, pararcheology, paganism, and esotericism. The band’s lineup became stable in 2018 with the addition of Ramona Festuccia on vocals, Aster on growl vocals, and Pietro Di Mattia on bass. For years, the drummer’s throne remained vacant. However, the band’s great fortune was to have met New Yorker John Macaluso (Malmsteen, ARK, TNT, Jennifer Batten, James La Brie, Mike Romeo), who agreed to lend his mastery to the band’s compositions. Thus, “Book of Illusion Fragments” was recorded with John on drums, and the pieces took on an original flavor. In 2022, the latest lineup change brought in Giusy Marina to replace Ramona, Bruno Maremonti became the band’s regular drummer. Currently, the Emerald Table is working on creating a live show while also creating new material influenced by the newly added members.

This work concludes a cycle of several years of experimentation and alternation, a work mainly as a study, up to now we have kept faith with mythological or decadent themes as per the tradition of the genre.
The productions that are currently taking shape are following the philosophical theme but going more direct and with electronic inserts while remaining anchored to our matrix Whispers Through the Gardens consists of 4 tracks:
THE EMPIRE: Our tribute to the most famous outcast of ancient Egypt, Akhenaten, who by a strange twist of fate found himself on the throne where no one would have bet he could reign by subverting a thousand-year-old religion.
A SHIP CALLED INSANITY: Metaphor of an existence adrift at the mercy of an inner storm where one can cling to the mast of one’s madness. It was also our first official video.
BLACK RABBIT: Creating a perfect world for the idealization of unrequited love, the protagonist gets lost in an inner labyrinth like his own spider web between fantasy and anguish!
COMA WHITE: Revisiting the famous Marilyn Manson song in our style!

With the release of our new LP, "Book of Illusion's Fragments," a significant era for Emerald Table comes to a close. This album not only symbolizes the birth and growth of our band but also embarks on a musical journey that embraces diverse influences and styles.
"Book of Illusion's Fragments" consists of 10 tracks exploring a range of musical genres, inspired by the mystery of the emerald tablets and the hermetic writings of Hermes Trismegistus. This ancient sage is revered as the founder of hermeticism and a precursor to Hellenistic astrology.
The LP opens with the instrumental intro, "The Table," representing the chaos preceding the actual commencement of the journey. In the second track, "Elements," we delve into the elements that will guide us along the path of hermetic mystery. From "Blackwood" to "The Flood," we traverse epic gothic and metal atmospheres, exploring deviations like "Lost Memories of Life" and "Crimson Horizons & Ashen Skies" to analyze different perspectives.
The path winds through "Waiting for the Dawn," a narrative pause to explore the prophecy of "Mothman Prophecy," before walking on a frozen lake in the company of "Lady of the Icelake." The epic journey culminates with "Hermon's Chronicles," leading us finally to the conclusion of the voyage depicted in "The Flood."
We are excited to share this chapter of our musical history with you and hope that "Book of Illusion's Fragments" transports you on a unique journey through intriguing sounds and themes.
